This seminar will be something different from the usual Dance Smart seminars that take place in summer and winter. We can leave winter in Central Europe behind us and focus exclusively on ourselves in pleasant temperatures on the smallest and most untouched of the Canary Islands.

As described on the website of our accommodation, you can only rent a room in El Cabrito on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday. In addition to our seminar, there is the opportunity to take part in yoga courses or book massages. On a non-seminar day, we could go for a hike or simply lie lazily on the beach.

We will coordinate the times we work witha meditation seminar running in parallel.

We have a limited contingent of only 6 rooms for single or double occupancy, so we have enough time to work individually. You have the unique opportunity to have your trainer exclusively for a week. There are hardly any other leisure options. There is no road, all traffic goes via El Cabrito boats. This will definitely be a challenge for some participants, but we should see it as an opportunity to leave our everyday lives behind us and enjoy this paradise. The Feldenkrais method with its gentle, small movements will help us with this.

Even couples who can’t dance yet will definitely feel comfortable in this seminar.

If available, you can come a week earlier and/or stay a week longer to make the flight worthwhile. However, this needs to be clarified with the organization team.

The flight goes to Tenerife South and from there to the port, where the ferry takes us to San Sebastian on La Gomera. From there a boat picks us up and takes us and our luggage to El Cabrito. If possible, it is advisable to arrange the flight so that you take an early flight on the day of arrival and a late flight on the day of departure so that connections with the ferries are possible.

It is also possible to book accommodation in Tenerife or La Gomera.

The seminar itself will cost approximately 300 € per person.

Dance Smart – Weeks are not ordinary dance camps where many dance teachers and famous trainers give lectures. With us you will work on the basis of the Feldenkrais method to get to know your instrument, your own body, and find out how it is organized and what habits you bring with you in your own movement. The new knowledge is then used to improve your dance routine or simply to make your everyday movement easier and simpler.

New: Holiday seminar on La Gomera. And now something new has been added: For the first time, there is the possibility of booking a holiday seminar in March, which offers you the opportunity to take care of yourself and to spend your holiday with the pleasant movements of the Feldenkrais method in order to develop an anatomically logical body structure for you to enrich dance sport.
