This seminar will be something different from the usual Dance Smart seminars that take place in summer and winter. We can leave winter in Central Europe behind us and focus exclusively on ourselves in pleasant temperatures on the smallest and most untouched of the Canary Islands.

As described on the website of our accommodation, you can only rent a room in El Cabrito on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday. In addition to our seminar, there is the opportunity to take part in yoga courses or book massages. On a non-seminar day, we could go for a hike or simply lie lazily on the beach.

Would you like to get to know the Feldenkrais method and spend your vacation with a nice group with guided and gentle exercise?

Even those who have nothing to do with dancing or want to have anything to do with it are also welcome to this camp. Enjoy around 1.5 hours in the morning with the gentle and subtle movements of the Feldenkrais method and in the afternoon explore the surrounding area with plenty of hiking and excursion options.

Welcome to dance-smart.de, the dance sports training based on the Feldenkrais method.

This training was developed by:
Anne-Lore Zimmermann (Germany), dance sports trainer A and Feldenkrais teacher

My goal is to make dance sport easier, more beautiful and more successful for all dancers. Furthermore, I would like to help design the movement sequences to music in such a way that they become healthy and anatomically effective. Technique and athleticism alone are not enough to be a successful dancer. It is essential that as a couple you develop a rounded, soft and whole-body movement sequence that builds on the possibilities of the human body.

In my opinion, it is necessary to experience and know how the human body is designed for movement and which movements it cannot do so well or not at all. As a dancer I have to develop a good body awareness and as a trainer I have to know how I can contribute to this. And all of this in connection with your partner and music and the required dance technique in the respective discipline. (e.g. in classical ballet, modern, standard and Latin American dances and many other dance areas.)
