Would you like to get to know the Feldenkrais method and spend your vacation with a nice group with guided and gentle exercise?

Even those who have nothing to do with dancing or want to have anything to do with it are also welcome to this camp. Enjoy around 1.5 hours in the morning with the gentle and subtle movements of the Feldenkrais method and in the afternoon explore the surrounding area with plenty of hiking and excursion options.

Movement and dancing – Dance Smart for more or less advanced hobby dancers in standard dances.

The morning is dedicated to improving body awareness, followed by improving the basics of dance movement in the standard dances. The afternoon is at your leisure. Participation in the free training (1 hour in the afternoon) and the dance evening program (mostly latin american dances) is possible.

Dance Smart for competitive dancers

In the morning we work on our body awareness and the basics of movement using the Dance Smart method. In the afternoon there is time for tournament training, supervised free training and, if required, private lessons (80€). If you haven’t had enough, you can of course take part in the evening program.

Accommodation: Hotel zur Linde

The hotel is a family-run, cozy hotel with a large hall for events.
The hotel’s offer includes overnight stay and half board (breakfast and dinner), local tax and taxes for 68.50€ per person per night in a double room.

The single room surcharge is 10€ per night.

You can also book full board: 14€ per person per day.

The cancellation period is: 1 month.

Free parking is available at the hotel location. There are two parking spaces where you can charge an electric car (Type 2-11KW plug).

I agreed with the hotel that everyone should decide for themselves whether they want to have lunch or not. It can then be selected from a small map.

Summer camp in Yspertal since 2020.

I have been organizing dance seminars and training weeks in the summer for over 30 years. Previously together with Jan Oechler and Yoni Zaluski at the Silberberg wine-growing school in southern Styria. Since 2020 at the Gasthof/Hotel Zur Linde in Altenmarkt, Yspertal/Lower Austria.

The training room is a little smaller than usual, but can be used very well for dance lessons and Feldenkrais.

Dance Smart – Weeks are not ordinary dance camps where many dance teachers and famous trainers give lectures. With us you will work on the basis of the Feldenkrais method to get to know your instrument, your own body, and find out how it is organized and what habits you bring with you in your own movement. The new knowledge is then used to improve your dance routine or simply to make your everyday movement easier and simpler.
